ANKENY, Iowa – Community State Bank (CSB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Hannah as president. Kurt Gibson, who joined the bank as CEO and president in 2017, will remain the organization’s chief executive officer.

Today, CSB has over $1.4 billion in assets, a compounded annual growth rate of 15 percent, and more than 150 employees across Central Iowa. Separation of executive leadership roles is a clear reflection of the bank’s growth mindset and focus on strategic priorities for long-term success.

Hannah comes to CSB from Bankers Trust, where he was the commercial sales manager. Prior experience includes 15 years in relationship development and financial analysis with Wells Fargo. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from Iowa State University.
