Community State Bank is pleased to announce Kurt Gibson has joined the organization as President. He reports to current president & CEO, Ronald Nagel, who retains his role as CEO.

Kurt Gibson is a resident of Ankeny and has a long history of banking in the Des Moines Metro area. He has held various relationship management and leadership roles with regional banks located in Des Moines. Kurt has over 27 years of extensive commercial lending experience and will use his market expertise to help build relationships and grow the Bank’s lending portfolio.

Ron Nagel comments, “While I continue to play an active role at Community State Bank, I enthusiastically welcome Kurt as our new president. He has proven to be a successful and trusted leader and brings to this position a strong reputation for building and maintaining relationships. I am confident in his abilities to move the company forward.”

Kurt says he is “very excited to join the talented team at Community State Bank. I look forward to ensuring the organization remains dedicated to its long tradition of providing exceptional service to both business and personal customers. I am confident CSB will continue to grow and meet the challenges of the banking environment.”

Gibson is a graduate of Coe College. He and his wife have 3 children. Kurt is active in the community and is involved in many community and professional organizations, including: Greater Des Moines Partnership, Rotary Club of Des Moines, Robert Morris Associates, Alzheimer‘s Association and Ankeny First United Methodist Church.
