Our mobile banking service provider is implementing a new layer of security for mobile banking called TLS 1.2. Effective June 25, mobile banking will require Transport Layer Security version 1.2 (TLS 1.2), and will no longer support TLS 1.0 and 1.1. This is the current industry standard for data security and is a financial industry best practice. TLS 1.2 ensures that transactions conducted from mobile banking to the end user are securely encrypted, providing enhanced privacy and security.
Users will be required to have the following to access mobile banking:
• Android: KitKat (level 20) or above
• iPhone: iOS 8 or above
If you have questions, please contact your cell phone service provider.
