The Old Creamery Theatre
Date: October 27, 2010
Cost: $85.00
This is a "tried and true" trip with a couple of new twists. We are starting the day in Marengo, IA. There is a wonderful Pioneer Heritage Museum where we will see such things as: the 1861 Victor Depot and hand car, the 1938 gas station and fire truck, as well as lots of farm equipment and a military display. After we leave the museum, we will head to P.H.A.T. Daddy’s for lunch. This restaurant has been highly recommended to us. It is owned and operated by a man who left New Orleans after Katrina and fell in love with our state. When we are delightfully filled, we will move on down the road to Williamsburg. There you can kick off your holiday shopping (men, don’t worry we are only there an hour). Now onto the Amanas for the show, which is called "Blithe Spirit." This show is a comedy about a man who has remarried, but is visited by his deceased wife’s spirit. Please join us for this great day. As you know, this one will fill up fast, so don’t hesitate - call today.
Treasures of Ireland
Dates: November 1-9, 2010
Cost: $2999.00 (double)
Let’s fly to Limerick, travel to the Cliffs of Moher, visit the city of Galway, take a car ride into the Killarney National Park and tour the spectacular Muckross House and Gardens. We will also see the Ring of Kerry and the Lakes of Killarney. Of course, the Blarney Stone is always a popular stop, as is Waterford and the Crystal Factory. No trip to Ireland would be complete without visiting Dublin and the Guinness Brewery. There are spaces available on this trip, and I would love for you to come along!
A Branson Christmas
Dates: December 6-9, 2010
Cost: $499.00 per person (double)
We are calling this trip the Magical, Musical Mix Tour. We will head south and stop for dinner at Lambert’s Café in Ozark, Missouri - "Home of the Throwed Rolls." We will enjoy Doug Gabriel’s morning show, a guided tour of Branson with a stop at the Fruitcake Factory, and the Twelve Irish Tenors Show. (If there is a show you want to see that isn’t included, let me know and I will try to get tickets.) We’ll dine at the Uptown Café and attend the Miracle of Christmas Evening Show, the newest and most spectacular show. The smell of Christmas fills a spectacular auditorium decked out in lights, greenery and 30 foot Christmas tree. On the largest stage in Branson, the Christmas story is told in a life-size nativity scene replete with live camels, horses, sheep and parrots. Join us for this very special Branson trip. A deposit of $50.00 per person is due upon reservation.
