100 Ways of Giving Partnership

JOHNSTON PARTNERSHIP FOR A HEALTHY COMMUNITY RECEIVES GRANT
‘100 Ways of Giving’ Celebrates 100 Years of EMC Insurance Companies
and Gives Back to Local Community

On behalf of CSB Insurance Group and EMC Insurance Companies, the Johnston Partnership for
a Healthy Community is receiving a $1,000 grant through the 100 Ways of Giving program. The
check presentation is on June 16 at 4:30 p.m. at the Johnston Bank, with EMC’s Tanya Wentzel,
and CSB Insurance Group’s Al Brazelton and Paul Veach in attendance.

The grant will help the Partnership construct a single location for its programs and services. The
EMC Insurance Foundation is giving grants to 100 charities; those charities will vie for an
additional $25,000 grant. People can vote on www.CountonEMC.com from July 1 to Oct. 8,
2011 for their favorite organization.
